My Role
Lighting, shooting and directing the interviews with children, parents and staff to form a playful and engaging base for the video. I also carried out the post-production on this project, editing and delivering the video to a very happy (and amused) client!

Interviews shot on Sony FS7 with Sigma Cine Zoom 50-100
Lighting achieved largely naturally using available light, Aputure 120D, an LED ring light and some negative fill.

NEED NO LONGER - ALBANY
My Role
With a small crew working on this project, I undertook the responsibilities of producing, lighting and co-directing. I worked with the excellent dancer to decide a performance style, selected and arranged costumes/props and even made some skin-safe paint that would be thick and dark enough to achieve the desired effect! Light-wise, after some experimentation, a single light approach was chosen, which saw us rigging to the overhead beams to create the contrasty, harsh drop off on the subjects.

JAGUAR XE (UNOFFICIAL)
My Role
It's not everyday that a friend gets a stunning Jaguar XE and you happen to end up in the Peak District...when in Rome.
For this video, I was the director and ground operator of a Blackmagic Pocket camera on a Ronin MX gimbal, capturing all of the passing/tracking shots whilst the drone op shot some stunning aerials. It all came together to create a moody, atmospheric and energetic short which (hopefully) lives up to the car it features.

SCREENTIME GIN - TEASER
My Role
Lighting the various small studio sets to create a glamorous, warm, Hollywood feeling which accompanies the style of the gin itself.

Lighting achieved using an 8mm projector, 1x Aputure 300X with softbox, 1x Nanlite pavotube, 1x LED panel and negative fill.

CHAMBER OF COMMERCE (CASE STUDY)
My Role
Producing, directing, lighting and shooting the case study video for Yoga Loughborough, a business that benefited from support from the EMC. The video needed to have a light, airy and positive feeling to match the brand it showcased, which was achieved through the location and lighting style in the interview!
